A lehenga-style sari is a new type of Indian clothing that combines the features of a traditional sari and a lehenga choli. It is about 5 yards long and does not require pleating. Instead, it is simply tucked and draped.
Like a traditional sari, a lehenga-style sari is worn over a petticoat and with a blouse called a choli. The choli is similar to the choli of a lehenga or ghagra choli, but it can also be a traditional blouse. It is often halter neck, deep neck, or backless. Like other cholis, it can be embellished with kundan, beads, or mirrors.
